UK Hose Achieves SafeContractor Accreditation
22 April 2026
We're really proud to announce that UK Hose has been awarded SafeContractor accreditation, one of the UK's most widely recognised health and safety certification schemes for contractors.
This isn't something that happens overnight. Achieving SafeContractor certification requires businesses to be independently assessed against rigorous health and safety standards, covering everything from policies and procedures through to our track record for safe practice. We're proud to have met that bar.
At the heart of this accreditation is something simple: our engineer’s matter. Our teams work on customer sites every single day, often in demanding industrial environments, and this certification reflects the standards we hold ourselves to in keeping them safe. It's not a box-ticking exercise but a commitment to the way we operate.
A huge thank you to everyone internally who worked hard to pull this together. It took real effort and we're grateful for it.
SafeContractor is recognised by major organisations across the UK, many of whom will only engage contractors who hold current certification. For our customers, it means that when you need verified proof that UK Hose meets your site access and compliance requirements, we can now provide that. Independently assessed and signed off, not just our word for it.
This accreditation opens doors. Whether you operate sites with strict contractor requirements or simply want confidence that the people working alongside your team are held to the highest standards, UK Hose can now demonstrate that clearly and officially.
Ross Roper, Operations Director of UK Hose, said: "Our engineers work on customers sites every day, often in demanding and challenging environments. SafeContractor certification gives our customers the assurance that our health and safety practices have been independently assessed and verified to a high standard. It also reflects the culture we've built here at UK Hose, where safety isn't a box-ticking exercise, it's part of how we operate day to day and something we are constantly improving."
