Our History

UK Hose began in 1987 as Eastern Hose & Hydraulics, serving East Anglia with trusted fluid power solutions. In 2016, the company launched its first mobile repair units to meet growing demand for rapid, on-site hydraulic support.

By 2023, the mobile fleet had expanded significantly, operating across the North East, Midlands, Essex, London, Norfolk, Suffolk, and the South West—supported by a dedicated depot in Newcastle. This growth enabled faster response times and wider national coverage.

In 2024, to reflect its scale and nationwide reach, the business rebranded as UK Hose. With continued major investment, the fleet expanded again and the team surpassed 160 experts.

Today, UK Hose stands as the UK’s largest independent hydraulic breakdown service - delivering fast, expert support wherever and whenever it’s needed.
