Role Overview

We are seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to join the UK’s fastest growing hydraulic hose repair company. This role involves diagnosing and repairing hydraulic components at customer sites, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Sectors include Plant and Heavy Machinery, Material Handling, Logistics, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Agriculture, and Waste and Recycling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to and represent the company at customer sites, maintaining high standards of work and communication
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic components to a high standard
  • Log job details via the company app, including photos and parts used
  • Complete Health & Safety Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work before each repair
  • Maintain van stock levels and conduct regular checks
  • Build customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Support audits and contribute to continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in hydraulic repairs, mechanical or engineering roles (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with an engineering or breakdown background
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience as a Hose or Hydraulics Engineer, Plant Fitter, or Mobile Service Technician is ideal – training provided where needed
